Cuti Semester 3
بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم
Assalamualaikum.
It had been a long time since the last time I updated my
blog. Alhamdullilah, today I got the opportunity to do so. I spend most of my
vacation time with my family. That was supposed written in this blog update but
unfortunately the truth was not totally with them because my semester break did
not occur on school holidays. My beloved parents were working and my siblings
had to attend school. Except for my little brother who had finished his PMR
examinations, he seldomly spends his time at home as there were not much to do
at his school after examination. Hhhmm, however he did not provide much help in
getting rid of my boredom at home except for eating together or arguing. He
also helped my aunty to repair the insect repellent machine or whatsoever it
was called.
I tried to make my semester break as the
beneficial one by helping my mum to do some of the house chores such as washing
clothes, sweeping floor, preparing simple meals for my siblings and such.
Nothing to be bragged about as it was actually the duty of a daughter too. My
mum was a career woman, but no matter how busy she was she always cooks for us.
When I went to university I will miss her cooking as the taste of food at the
stall and restaurant are completely differs from mum’s cooking. This was a
heavy weapon for homesick feeling.
East or West, home is best. That is so, so true. I never
opposed this and I even agreed that was a fact, except for the ones who love
travelling they might find that home was not the best situation. I am a homely
person, leaving my house is kind a punishment. The so-called nightmare happened
to me. I received a call from a friend of mine. She had finished her diploma
and then took a part time job at HEP, UiTM, the place where I furthered my
studies. Okay, actually the call was from the HEP about Pembantu Mahasiswa for
Minggu Destini Siswa programme. This is an induction program for UiTM new
students and I was chosen as one of the assistants. I have to assist the
program and I am happy but in the same time suffering as I need to go back
earlier to university. 3 days for courses and 1 week for the induction program.
That sounds so fatigue and I hope Allah will make it easier for my friends and
I to do our job.
Oh yes, yes, yes. I almost forgot about my exam result and
guess what, I got the Dean List for the second time. Alhamdulillah… Allah heard
my prayer. A little upset because my pointer
in CGPA was decreasing. Maybe I need to concentrate more on studies without
neglecting my co-curricular activities. Dividing time always hard for me but
Insya Allah, everything will be easy as long as I do my best and never stop
from praying to Him.
The Clock is ticking but nothing much to write about. 2 days
more left for this holidays and I will be back to university. Please pray for
me so that I can do my very best for my juniors.
Jazakallah:)
